My brother was part of the Oldham baby scandal. Babies were being burried in mass graves as early as 1982 including my brother. I submitted a freedom of information request to the council to ask who were the funeral directors in Oldham who were burying babies At this time. These lot at Barlow’s (same ownership) and Wild and Brierley were burying babies in mass plots. This can be confirmed by writing to Oldham Council. I’ve submitted a complaint to the council and currently at the Ombudsman. I encourage others to do the same. I’m also currently working with a few journalists on a programme to

Our dear friend Vera Sheridan died on February 5th. I appointed G Barlows to undertake Vera's funeral as per her wishes that she talked at length to me about prior to her Deceace. I went to see Sarah Barlow and the whole problems disappeared and Vera's funeral went with Dignity and professionalism that Vera would have wanted. Having used Sarah and the excellent team at Barlow's on three occasions I cannot praise them highly enough. Each funeral has been expertly handled from start to finish.
